INDICATIVE CONTENT

 This module will give students a comprehensive overview of the role marketing plays in the specific sectors of Events, Food, Hospitality and Tourism. The module introduces disciplines that are included under the term 'marketing', including; public relations (PR), social media, advertising, experiential, customer relationship marketing (CRM), sales, integrated marketing campaigns (IMC), branding, guerrilla, stealth etc. It will provide a history of marketing concepts through to contemporary trends and will focus on the consumer as central to all marketing strategy whilst considering financial and CSR implications.
